Getting started Webcam Studios

Register as a Webcam Studio
The first step to get your Webcam Studio account is to visit our Webcam studio registration page and follow all the registration steps.
An active and valid e-mail address is required to get your Webcam studio account.
Once you have registered, you will receive an account activation e-mail message. The next step is to login in your Webcam studio account and upload your ID. By following the activation instructions you can ONLY activate your Webcam studio account.
Please notice that a Webcam Studio account requires minimum three active webcam performer registrations.
My Control Panel
Once you have registered and activated your Webcam studio account you can finally login and complete your account.
You can also start to create webcam performer accounts for your performers.
The first screen you will see after a successful login is the "My Control panel" page. From this page you will have access to all the primary elements of this system.
In this section all the features will be highlighted to give you as a member a better understanding about all its functions.
Your Statistics
Here in this components you will see your join and last visit date.
Additional you will see a plotted graph over this months earnings (what your webcam performers have earned).

In this section all platform related news for Webcam Studios and Webcam Performers will be published. After clicking on a news item you will be redirected to the news article viewer.
New Blog entries
The new blog entries component displays the three latest blog entries on the platform.
Once you click on a new blog entry you will be redirected to the actual blog entry.
Mail Box
Each registered Webcam Studio has its own personal mailbox. The mail system on DirectChat.TV is using an inbound method which means that all the mail communication remains within our platform and uses your personal e-mail address to notify you once you have received a new mail message from your webcam performers or Support.
From your personal Mail Box you can compose, reply and delete mail messages.
My Performers
By using the "My Performers" feature you see a listing from all the Webcam Performers you have created within your Webcam Studio account. In this listing you will see which webcam performers have been approved and which are still pending.
Once you will add a new webcam performer account you will be required to fill in the following information.

Notice:
Remind that for each new Webcam Performer registration we require you to upload a copy of their ID and to use a valid and working e-mail address since our Live Adult Webcam community platform is profile based (simular as Facebook).
My Settings
The next step will be to enter the settings for your webcam performer (this can be unique per webcam performer).
- Revenue Share %
- Stream Types (Free Chat - Nude Hardcore)
Notice that the "Revenue Share %" is the percentage what will be reserved from your earnings as a Webcam studio. For example: you will get 50% and when you define 30% as "Revenue Share %" for your webcam performer she will actually gets 30% from the 50% you receive.
This value is required for webcam performers to see their earning.
Chat Logs
Chat Logs are recorded chat conversations (text) between your performers and our guests and members. By clicking on the "read this webcam performer chat log" you will see all her chat logs sorted by date. Additional you can select a custom date to retrieve all the related chat logs.
Once you click on a "Chat Log" you will see the related text chat conversation sorted by timestamps. By using our search function you can easily find certain text strings in the selected chat log.
Work Schedules
By using our "Work Schedule" feature you can easily create schedules per webcam performer. Please notice that webcam performers with working schedules will get more attention (on several locations plus in our newsmailing) within our Live Adult Webcam community platform.
When you select "Add an Schedule" entry you will get a popup overlay window where you can define the following schedule information:
- Performer (just type the name of one of your webcam performers)
- Date (month - day - year notation)
- Start Time (hr - mm notation)
- Shift Hours (define the number of hours a shift for your webcam performer)
By confirming the new "Schedule" entry you can press the "Save" button.
My Revenues
The "My Revenues" pages shows a graph with your webcam studio revenues for the current month. Additional it shows a summary about your webcam studios revenues/earnings and you will have the option to access additional features related to your revenues and earnings displayed in tabs.

Please notice that when your webcam performers have received "Penalties" the totals will be automatically deducted from your payouts.
Payouts
The "My Revenues - Payouts" tab offers you an overview about the next payout and its details. It will display the desired payout method and account information and a full breakdown of your webcam studios earnings and payouts. Additional it will also highlights payout rules.

The "My Revenues - History" tab offers you an overview over all payouts you have received on your bank, Paxum, or CashX account.
My Photos
The "My Photos" feature enables you to upload photo sets from your webcam performers. Photo series are a great marketing tool to stimulate more traffic to you webcam girls chat rooms! Webcam performers with photo series will get automatically more media exposure on this Live Adult Webcam community.
Please note that photos need to be minimum 800x600 pixels in order to get you photo upload to be approved and accepted.
After activating the "My Photos" feature you will see a listing from all your photo series. All photo series have a name, number of photos and the last update date stamp. Per photo serie you can activate the following features: delete, edit or add more photos to your photo serie.
Add new photo series
To add new photo series and attach them to your webcam performer's account you are required to follow three steps.
Step 1/3: Fill in the new album's details.

Step 2/3: Select your photos
The next step is to select photos (JPG format) and in a minimum dimension of 800x600 pixels. After selecting the photos you can upload them to our servers (the upload time depends on the number of selected photos).
Step 3/3: Edit album details
The last step is to define which photo is the Photo Album's cover. Additional you can select which photos are public accessible by all members. Normally only registered members with a positive e-Wallet balance value can access photos.
My Video Clips
You can also upload video clips from your webcam performers which is interesting for our member community to watch them. You can upload video clips in different video file formats (wmv/asf/mov/mpeg/mpg/mp4/avi/flv) while they be rendered in the background after uploading.
After selecting the "My Video Clips" feature you will see a listing of all your video clips including the following details:

Upload a Video Clip
In order to upload a Video Clip and attach it to one your webcam performers profiles you are required to follow this instructions:
Step 1/1: Fill in the new Video Clip's details

- Rate: (flexible rates: 0.00 - 0.09 - 0.18 - 0.30 - 0.39 - 0.48 credits per minute)*

Important notes:
- 1: Maximum filesize is 15MB.
- 2: Uploading the video might take a while, please be patient.
My Recorded Video clips
In this section you can access all the recorded private video clips from your webcam performers. You can start a play session or delete them.
Each recorded private video clip is listed with a small photo and the details from the video clip.

Recorded Private video clips are available for registered members with a positive e-Wallet balance value. The minute rate for a Private video clips is 0.58 credits. Once a member starts to watch a recorded private video clip she will earn money with it.
Stream Monitor
This feature is currently unavailable.

Support
Through "My Control Panel" you can request for support. All Support calls will be automatically added into our Support Ticket system and replied into your personal mail box in this Live Adult Webcam community platform.
Rules
DirectChat.TV has a set of rules for its Webcam Performers, Webcam Studios, Affiliating webmasters and Member community.Our administrators are monitoring and safeguarding all our chatrooms to see if the rules are being respected.
Each rules has a number of warnings and money penalty. Using our stream monitor software our administrators can warn and summons Webcam Performers.In severe cases our Administrators can kick and close chatrooms at any time.
Note:
Once an Administrator summons a Webcam Performer the associated money penalty will be deducted from their earnings which effects the monthly payouts.
Speed Test
The "Speed Test" is a handy tool to determine you upload and download speed. Keep in mind that for the best live broadcasted video chat feed you need approximately a 300K upload connection speed per broadcasting chat room.

Each webcam studio account has its own "Company Profile" based on five tabs.

"My info" highlights the contact information from the studio owner.

Payments
This section is important to get paid bi-weekly. We only payout if there is a payout account available. You can create multiple payout accounts and select a desired one as default.
Documents
In this section you can upload your personal ID and/or scan as proof of you company registration. You can only upload files in JPG format.
Important: In order to get your webcam studio account activated we require an upload from your personal ID.
IP Block/Requests
Here in this section you can block traffic from selected countries, per IP address/range or request from your webcam performers.
My Blocked Countries
Default you will see a listing of blocked countries. When you add a country your webcam performers will not receive any inbound traffic from this country.
Blocked IPs
Here you can add IP addresses or IP range to block access to chat rooms and profiles pages from your webcam performers.
Requests
In this section you can approve or deny "blockings" from your webcam performers.
Change Password
Using the "Change e-Mail" you can change your e-mail address where you will receive all e-mail messages and notifications.
You are required to first enter your old e-mail address followed by entering twice your new e-mail address.
After changing your e-mail address you will receive a confirmation e-mail to confirm the e-mail address chance.
Make sure you use an active and valid e-mail address because otherwise you can't login.
